Samsung being among the widest and biggest manufacturer of Android phones by a great margin, has released a list of its several phones to have the latest OS update during the course of 2017.

For those having a Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge, you should probably have checked if there’s a released update waiting for you. Samsung has already released the Android 7.0 Nougat for the Galaxy S7 series in several areas and your device should get it soon if it’s not there yet.

Rather than the two current flagships, the company says it plans to bring Nougat to a number of devices which they probably hope to be done within the first half of 2017. These devices include:

  • Galaxy S7
  • Galaxy S7 Edge
  • Galaxy S6
  • Galaxy S6 Edge
  • Galaxy S6 Edge Plus
  • Galaxy Note 5
  • Galaxy Tab A with S Pen
  • Galaxy Tab S2 (LTE unlock)
  • Galaxy A3
  • Galaxy A8

The list seemed compact and decent although it incorporates a product line of samsungs high end flagship lineup.

Most of these devices are flagships of previous years which means they won’t see an update until Google’s nearly ready to announce the next version of Android.
